How long have you been operating Hopencross Crèche?
Hopencross Foundation School began with a Crèche and Kindergarten in September 2010. Since then, the school has grown steadily through God's grace and the support of our parents and community. What started as a vision to provide godly, affordable, and excellent education has expanded to include Nursery, Primary, and College sections. Throughout our growth, we have remained committed to nurturing children spiritually, academically, and morally, helping them develop into confident and responsible individuals who can positively impact their world.

Since our establishment, we have remained committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for all children. Through close supervision, responsible caregiving, and consistent safety practices, we strive to ensure that every child can learn, play, and grow with confidence. What are the tuition fees and other associated charges?

What is the age range for admission into the Crèche?
Our Crèche welcomes children within the approved age range for early childhood care and development. Parents are encouraged to contact the school office for specific admission requirements and placement guidelines.
What items should my child bring to the Crèche each day?
Parents are encouraged to provide items necessary for their child's comfort and care, including diapers, wipes, a change of clothing, feeding bottles, baby food (where applicable), and any personal items required by the child. A detailed list will be provided upon admission.
What academic programme do you have for the children?
Our academic programme is designed to support the holistic development of every child. Through age-appropriate learning activities, storytelling, literacy and numeracy readiness, creative play, music, sensory exploration, and social interaction, we help children build a strong foundation for future learning. Our goal is to nurture children who excel academically while developing confidence, creativity, and good character.
What spiritual programmes do you have for the pupils?
As a Christian school, spiritual development is an important part of our programme. Children are introduced to biblical values through age-appropriate Bible stories, prayers, praise and worship sessions, memory verses, and character-building lessons. Our desire is to help every child develop a love for God and grow in godly values from an early age.
What are the operating hours of the Crèche?
The Crèche operates during official school hours. Specific opening and closing times, as well as arrangements for early drop-off or late pick-up where applicable, can be obtained from the school office.
What safety and security measures are in place for the children?
We maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly environment for all children. Our caregivers and staff closely supervise pupils throughout the day, and we have procedures in place for child protection, emergency response, and secure pick-up arrangements. We continually review our safety practices to ensure the well-being of every child.
What happens if my child becomes ill or requires medication during the day?
If a child becomes unwell during school hours, parents or guardians will be contacted immediately. Any medication required by a child must be accompanied by clear instructions from the parent or guardian. The health, comfort, and safety of every child remain our priority.
Are parents allowed to visit the Crèche during the day?
Yes. We believe in maintaining a strong partnership with parents. Visits may be arranged in accordance with school policies to ensure minimal disruption to learning activities and the daily routine of the children.
What holidays and school closure dates should parents be aware of?
The school operates according to the approved academic calendar. Parents receive advance notice of all holidays, mid-term breaks, public holidays, special events, and school closure dates through official school communication channels.

Kindergarten 1 is an exciting stage in your child's educational journey. At Hopencross, we provide a warm, engaging, and nurturing environment where young learners are encouraged to explore, ask questions, express themselves, and discover the joy of learning.

Strengthening Foundations and Preparing Children for the Next Level
Kindergarten 2 is an important transition stage where children build upon the knowledge and skills developed in KG1 and become increasingly prepared for the more structured learning experience ahead.
